I bet you didn't know...

Hello friends and family!
Well, just thought I'd give you a "little known fact" about our travels. Most of you don't know that we have had a constant traveling companion with us since we left the States.
His name is Mr. Blues. (Seen here preparing for take-off!)

Mr. Blues is a teddy bear that belongs to this elementary school class in Concord, California.

My great friend Lori, who also happens to be the flight attendant that has taken on my flying schedule for the year (and therefore made this trip possible for me-thanks Lori!) told her mother of our traveling plans for the year. Lori's mom is the teacher of the class in Concord and asked if we would be willing to take their class bear Mr. Blues along with us. So, we agreed and have been sending postcards and photos of Mr. Blues back to the class as we go along. As it turns out, Mr. Blues' traveling adventures have become quite popular! He is not only being followed by the class, but now by the entire school and will soon appear in their school news letter. Miles and I are also hoping to publish a children's book about Mr. Blues when we get home. So, if you happen to know any publishers...We'd appreciate the contact!
