Recap - Hua Hin
We've been in Myanmar for 2 weeks now but before we give you the low down (next post), let me rewind quickly to Thailand and Hua Hin. Erin flew into Bangkok on March 2nd. I ran up there that night and as big as Koh San Road is (or Bangkok for that matter), I still managed to run into Carl (host of Malapascua Cribs) and Sandra who we traveled with briefly in the Philippines (insert small world quote here). I surprised Erin by planning breakfast with them the following morning and after bidding each other "Until next time" we headed down to Hua Hin. Wind had already been blowing consistently for the last week and dudes - I'm a kite boarder now! I guess after 3 weeks of doing nothing else... Thanks to all the transients and crew at KBA - Eran, Wan, Peter (a.k.a. - Spiderman), Sammy, Todd and Nung (a.k.a. - De-Power Ranger).
Whether it was beach bowling, volleyball or football while waiting for the wind, or Nirvana, Same Same or Hilton Bar or giving me tips on how to finally go up wind - my 3 weeks there was unforgettable.
May the wind be always blowing cross on-shore! Here are pics of the rest of the long term transients that were there during my stint and Erin and Marie on their horses in between 200 Baht an hour massages. I'm sure I'll see you guys again kiting on another beach or wide open snow field.

Hi guys, I haven't been to your site lately. It is very nice to see Miles riding his kite so far out and since there is this entry by him he must have come back in too.
Those have to be the shortest horses I've ever seen. They are too big to be ponies but too small to be horses - maybe they are honies or porses.
Jelly fish stings - ouch. Vinegar is a good remedy.
Hey guys, Mom is doing a little better! She eats 4 or 5 tiny meals per day - throw-up at least one, but she is progressing. The dr.s took another medication away and put her back on another. We have to do the Lovenox - a blood thinner. She has been taking coumadin but her blood needed more thinning agents.
She does some kind of work every day instead of making lists for me.
Waiting to hear from you - love you , Dad
